What the hell is Spike? (Cooking)

I have a recipe that calls for something called “Spike” (a half teaspoon of it.)

  1. What is it?

  2. Where can I get some?

  3. Is Spike Lee going to be mad?

It seems to be a specially blended seasoning.

I like Spike seasoning, I find it in my grocery store, spices section. Usually it is right by salt substitutes.
