I have collected more pilot’s shirttails than the average person. I cut them off with scissors and keep them. It’s a hobby of mine.

On 4 occasions, I have ridden in an airliner in which I’d previously collected the pilot’s shirttail. :wink:

In the days of tandem trainers, the student sat in the front seat, with the instructor behind.
