What Time Do You Go To Bed?

9-10 on weekdays, 10-12 on weekends. Normally I’m too tired to stay up later.
Central time here.

EST. 10:30 is the absolute latest for me to be up through the week. I don’t get up until 7:30, but I’m pregnant, so I’m really tired all the time. Up until two weeks ago, I was asleep by 9:30 every night, slept until 9:30 AM on weekends, and took two hour naps on the weekends, too.
Even when I’m not pregnant, I like to be asleep by 10:30 M-F. I love sleeping.

I ought to make it 10, in order to get close to 8 hours’ sleep before I get up at 6 in the AM. But it’s rare that I do go to bed at 10 (or at least, I might be in bed, but I’ll still watch TV and/or read a book until at least 10:30-11:00).

I’m in Oregon - Pacific time zone.

Eastern here.

I go to bed between 1-3am. And I have to get up at 8am.

I don’t know how I do it, either.

2AM PST pretty much on the weekdays, up by 8-8:30AM. Weekends, 3AM.

Central time zone. On the weekday nights that I have to get up at 630 the next day, I like to try and be in bed by midnight at the latest. That doesn’t always happen though because a lot of the time, someone will call and want to do something, or I’ll spend too much time dicking around on the internet.

Weekday nights that I don’t have to get up early - usually stay up until 2 or so, or until I can’t keep my eyes open any longer.

Weekend nights - three or later. Those are usually the nights when I get to see my boyfriend and since nighttime is about the only time we see each other (we work opposite days) we usually stay up pretty late.

Est, 4-5am

Usually 1am Sun thru Sat no matter what time zone I’m in. I live in the Eastern time zone.

EST.

Never earlier than 1am, usually 2am and occasionally 3am. I’m up by 8am and in the office by 9am.

My wife thinks I’m cutting a good 10 years off my life expectancy. She’s probably right.

I like to get up around 0630 for work, so I’d need to be sleeping by 10 or 10:30 pm in order to get the 8 hours I need to feel rested.

The mind boggles at having a steady 10 pm betime and then staying up until 2 or 3 am on the weekends. That means I’d be awake on Friday for 20 or 21 hours! I just can’t alter my sleep habits for two nights and then snap right back into my weekday routine.

Mountain time. I work nights, so I usually go to bed at about 7:30 AM.

Wow. Some of you go to bed really late! I’ve never understood how some people can get by on 5 or 6 hours of sleep. I’ve always needed at least 10. I hardly ever get it (maybe on the weekends), but I try to get at least 8.

When I was a teenager, I could sleep marathon sessions. My personal record is, at 17, going to bed at 1 am and waking at 6 pm. I woke up, heard my dad ordering pizza downstairs, and looked at the clock. I then spent the next several confused seconds wondering how the pizza place could be open at 6 am.

I also love sleeping. Sometimes I fantasize about taking to my bed and spending a week so, catching up on my sleep. I rejoiced when the study came out a couple of years ago saying that some people really do need 10 or more hours of sleep a night. One of my friends remarked that she had always thought it strange that I needed a lot of sleep, but then she saw that study.

Oh, and Averie537, I don’t know how far along you are, but the extreme fatigue of early pregnancy usually wanes by the end of the fourth month.
