What to do with a gallon of honey?

Hey, at least you didn’t get a gallon of “purple”-tasting kudzu honey for your trouble in co-signing a loan so your beekeeper friend could go off to find a Russian mail order bride (kudzu honey described in post 108, but read the whole damn long thread as it is one of the best in the SDMB’s history).

My Better Homes and Garden Cookbook has a recipe for honey whole wheat muffins that call for 1/2 c of honey. They are quite delicious. Honey oatmeal bread is also a good way to use honey.

We buy our honey by the half gallon and manage to use it mostly for PB&H sandwiches. We make a lot of those around here.

I think you may have linked to the wrong kind of “honey.”

You could always shrink your kids.

Hey, get them before they get you, that’s my motto.

Crud. That was a link from the prior thread I posted in. The classic SDMB thread I meant to link to was John Carter of Mars’s masterpiece Mail order bride & sour honey.

No worries.

A friend of mine, he got mixed up with a “purple”-tasting kudzu honey. Then his wife found out. Lordy lord.
