What to do with leftover lasagna sauce?

The thing about venison if processed and cooked properly, add enough fat and it’s highly edible.

Just don’t watch Bambi for few days. :scream:

On second thought, no nuking. I think adding sauce, covering in foil, and reheating in the oven will produce a better texture.

I actually like cows more than deer. They are rather endearing creatures in person.

One reason i eat a lot of lamb and chicken is i don’t feel bad about the animals.

Your ideas are intriguing to me and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

Inoffensive as cows are, their meat is the bomb. Sorta sad for the ruminates that we carnivorous creatures can’t seem to get enough.

You’re not wrong. My only issue is that I love how lamb is cooked parisian style. It’s the only way I like it. That and chicken needs to be prepared so it is tender and possibly shredded to bits before adding to the layers of lasagna pasta, marina, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan and garlic.

Then add another layer of shredded cooked chicken, lasagna pasta, marina, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, parmesan and garlic.

Then I think that you heat it at 350 degrees for 20 minutes? Then test it with a tooth pick… and if needed… heat it for another 20 minutes at 350.

Feel free to add more mozzarella and marinara onto the top ( in that order so the cheese won’t burn ).

Please Remember that this recipe is in no way Real Italian cooking. By even saying so, a hit might be put out on me.

Hmm. I prefer lasagna with either beef or no meat at all i don’t really want chicken with that sweet of flavors. And also, i want my chicken a little less cooked.

I went on a hunting trip in Argentina last year and the lodge served us dove lasagna. It was surprisingly good. It was unlike any other lasagna I’ve ever had but it was really good. As was all the food.
