What to name a stealth boat?

$195 million Sea Shadow stealth ship for sale, only $10,000 deposit required

DARPA is putting up the Sea Shadowfor auction. Unfortunately the she will be scrapped before being given to the purchaser. :frowning:

While daydreaming about all the possible fun to be had with such a ship I suddenly realized I didn’t have a name for it! The best I could do was something like “Now you Sea Me.” So I turn to the brilliant mass that is the SDMB; what is the best name for a stealth ship? While we’re at it, what kind of voyages would you have?

Whisper.

" … "

Name her Scree because she’s going to be a pile of scrap by the time you get her!

Why name it? It won’t be able to come when you call.

I saw that thing come into port a few years ago. Really freaky looking in person.

“I could name me, but then I would have to kill you” would probably not fit on the registration forms.

Shhhhhip

Das Sneakyboot.

Fata Morgana

The Spanish Inquisition

^ yup, winner.

Hole In the Ocean*

Huh, wouldn’t have expected that name to show up . . .

I wonder why its being entirely scrapped? Just remove all weaponry, secret electronics, etc. Why dismantle the ship itself?

HEY!

I was thinking something like ***Peek-a-Boo, Hide’n Seek, ***or even better Blind Man’s Bluff.

Funny that the Navy spent $195 million on this-to find out that it was useless! But heck-we tossed away $538 million (on something called Solyndra), so it ain’t too bad.

Swim Shady

One of my many favorite lines from a movie comes from Hunt for Red October, where Jonesy says to make like a hole in the water, so similar to Der Trihs, I’d call it
