Today will be Day 7 of me going to work in the Archives. I’m going to finish dusting th e last 19 shelves of boxes in my section. When I’m done I will come back here and bitch about the GA that the rest of us are going to try to get fired. The Drama Llama: it’s in the library. (This is still better than having to deal with the politics in the English department. I don’t have to worry about pissing off the wrong person in the library.)

Happy Saturday Mumpers! It was a long boring week, but then I met someone on OKcupid the other day, and we spent 7 hours on IM last night. I really really like her alot. I’m being my usual overly cautious self, unfortunately, and I hope I don’t mess this one up by going too slowly. Ok time will tell.

We’ve had breakfast and **FCD ** got his hair cut. I’ve got a load of jeans in the washer and the dishwasher is running. I also cleaned the critter water thingie. And a little later, I’m going to play in clay. I decided to put off my shopping expedition until tomorrow. It’s been raining on and off and I just don’t want to deal with the weather.

Thanks for the concern/scoldings everyone. Especially rigs. I know, I know. There are not enough :smack: in the world. Going to Korea does seem like the best thing to do for all involved at this point. It’s pathetic that I have to put an ocean between a guy and myself just so I can stop sleeping with him, but there it is.

I tend to find that it’s just obliviousness and insecurity on his part that directs his actions. But I do appreciate your concern. Can it please stop snowing already? We went out to shovel the sidewalk, but by the time we got to the end, the starting point was already buried under 1/2" of snow. ARRRGH. It’s days like these that I regret buying a corner house… too damn much shoveling in the winter, and too damn much mowing in the summer.
On the bright side, at least this yucky weather saved me from a trip uptown to spend the day with the in-laws… the roads are just too gross to risk it, and you can get there by public transit. So I guess it’s not all bad.
