What TV character would you most like to be friends with?

Murry is actually pretty funny in real life. Bret McKenzie’s “Out of Character” was entertaining, but not as much so, and in a different way entirely.

Now if I actually have to hang out with a character with our clothes on, I’d probably choose Lucille Bluth. I know she’s a surly, unpleasant, drunken old woman, but so am I.

I haven’t seen the TV series, so I don’t know how they changed the character, but ever since I read the first Sookie novel I’ve wanted to be BFF with her. She seems like a really cool person, lots of fun with a unique perspective on people (due to the whole telepath thing) and many interesting things happen to her.

Also, with that many hot guys after her, I might be able to grab one of them that she’s rejected/done with.

**Gil Grissom **from *CSI *(I’ve always found his encyclopedic knowledge of quirky stuff fascinating, not to mention his interest and tolerance/compassion for oddballs and oddball lifestyles). I think he’d be a great guy to just hang out with and talk.

**Data **from ST:TNG might be fun, as would **Niles Crane **from Frasier.

I’d pick Dr. House, but much as I love the character I don’t think my sense of privacy could survive a friendship with him. :stuck_out_tongue:

Is that the black guy who makes witty observations on life and sings “White Christmas”?

You are thinking of Bing Cosby.

Dang right!

Disney’s Aladdin was also a kid’s TV series, right? Yeah…ok then, I’ll take Genie (working under the assumption that I’d have to have found the lamp first).

Suki from Gilmore Girls. What?

Belle Watley.

Just off the top of my head, Kel Mitchell, who became famous starting with Kenan and Kel and went on from there. He’s funny, and always seems to have a real zest for life, a good fashion sense and, well, he’s just acts a damn fool.

Abby Sciuto from NCIS.
Smart, sexy, quirky, geeky…
What’s not to like?

Did I mention sexy?

I’m seriously torn between Abby Sciuto and Jim Rockford.

I’ll choose Alex Rieger.

Randy Hickey from My Name Is Earl. He’d be as loyal as a dog and just as easy to impress.

Tara, from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. She’s smart and sweet and witchy.

But Anthony Bourdain is a great answer, too!

Dr. House, I’d love to shadow for a day, but he’d probably make me cry if he even noticed I was in the room. On the plus side, he’d have his interns doing all my (nursing) work, so it’d be an easy shift.

Ducky from NCIS. They always cut his stories off too soon, damn it.

Plus friendship with Ducky implies proximity too Abby that is nonetheless not focused on her.

Not if you’re a vegetarian. And probably not if you’re diabetic.

I think I’d like to hang out not only with Bill Cosby for his humor and affability, but also with Pierce Brosnon as Remington Steele for his downright coolness, Robert Stack as Eliot Ness in *The Untouchables *to have around as the resident tough guy, as well as William Hung of American Idol “She Bang” fame to keep us entertained.
So let’s see that would be … … … (wait for it) … …

Cosby, Steele, Ness and Hung.

Shouldn’t that be Michael Steele then? At least he thinks so and he is quite a character.

Dr. Who!

Tabitha Stevens, in Tabitha, the short-lived Bewitched spinoff.
