What TV character would you most like to be friends with?

That much is abundantly clear.

The river? :D:p:D:p:D:p

Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce

A great friend would be Wilson, from *House. *If he can put up with what House puts him through, he can put up with me.

I’m not sure if this question is meant to be which characters would we find it most advantageous to befriend or which characters we think we actually would be good friends with if they were real people who we knew. If the latter, the two that spring most readily to mind are Pam on The Office and Britta on Community. I don’t know that they’d be friends with each other, though!

Thinking back to my younger days, Ellen from The Adventures of Pete & Pete would have made a good friend for me.

Fox Mulder. If I couldn’t get him I’d settle for the Lone Gunmen.

“The name is Rockford. RockFORD!

He lived on the beach! And he was dreamy, dammit!*

  • The fact that he’s one of my Dad’s favorite TV characters, and that they could pass for brothers is NOT something I want to analyze, OK???

Have to second Data, Dr Who, and Pierce. And add Leela. Goodness that’d be quite a circle of friends!

Chandler Bing. I’ve always thought that if he really existed, he and I would get along like a house afire.

Good answer. Nice guy, loves to talk, and an actual expert on everything so the conversations would always be great.

Endora from Bewitched. She could turn all my coworkers into toads.

Ooh, I thought of another one.

Gomez Addams. That would be one interesting friendship. I could play with his trains, and maybe his wife.

You sure do like living dangerously. If he ever caught you he’d treat you to a magnum of Amontillado then brick you up in a wall.

Wonderful suggestions everyone. I didn’t even consider most of these characters

Or Wilson from Home Improvemnt. Nice guy, loves to talk, and doesn’t seem to visit you much.

Veronica Mars (from Veronica Mars) and Michael Weston from Burn Notice would be good people to have in your corner. Buffy the Vampire Slayer too, for when things really go off the rails.

Also Sam from Burn Notice … because he’s Bruce Campbell!

Well said Sir, well said!

You can have Alpert if I get Sawyer. Rowrlllllll.

As a friend I’d like to hang out with Adam Savage from Mythbusters. He makes me laugh and he’s plenty smart too.

Unless Morticia were genuinely in love with you. That seems unlikely, as she is as hopelessly in love with Gomez as he is with her, but we’ve already postulated a Morticia who might be unfaithful. Anyway, Gomez can deny Morticia nothing. If she threw her over for love of you, the most he would do would be to inform you that you will have to stay with Morticia till she’s done with you, and that if you ever cause her a soupçon of [del]pain[/del] heartbreak, his revenge will be either swift and terrible or slow and even more terrible.

I’d like to hang out with Mork from Ork. But only on Friday and Saturday nights. I don’t think I could handle him on a Sunday morning.

I had a physics professor who, when asked FTL questions would simply state, “You cannot travel faster than light.”
