What was the BEST Virtual Boy game?

For the three of us that will admit to owning a Nintendo Virtual Boy, what title was the best game on the system?

I have to go with Galactic Pinball. The music wins it. On top of that, it’s pinball, that turns into hockey. [Remember, the ball was called a puck.] On top of that, three tables?! You got to be kidding me.

Mario’s Tennis for Virtual boy was good, but, IIRC, it was a pack in. A Good game to show you what all the system could do, but, not the best overall.

Honestly, the only two games I had were Tennis (which I think came with it) and the Wario platform game, which actually was pretty fun. I enjoyed the Virtual boy, actually and it was on clearance when I got it for about $20. The only problem I had with it was your neck got strained after about 30 minutes of playing it unless you could prop it up *just *right.

Super Migraine Brothers.

Same games here. The Wario game was a lot of fun, so I actually pick it, as, while the Tennis game was impressive (having a 3D ball makes gameplay more intuitive), it got old, easily.

Same story, too, except it was on clearance for $40 and my dad got it when I decided I’d rather buy the Super GameBoy with the money I’d saved up. What I finally did to stop the neck straining was to lay down, and just position the VB as glasses. But I still had to stop every 30 minutes or get a headache.

Now, my (dad’s) VB seems to have disappeared of the face of the Earth.
Fortunately, there’s a couple Virtual Boy emulators online that either flatten the 3D or let you use those red-green/red-blue 3D glasses. They don’t usually cause headaches, so it’s the superior option, even if you still have yours.

Still own one, and use it often. The kids get a big kick out of Galactic Pinball. Red Alarm is still my fave: cannot STAND Mario’s Tennis.

Heck, I still own and play a Game Boy Color.

I guess I have to say Mario Tennis, since it’s the only one I ever played. Though if given the choice, the game where you turn the system off is probably the most fun.

Friend of mine got one new because he was one of those that had to have everything “cool.” I remember him trying desperately to play for more than five minutes to prove how cool the system was, but he was obviously having some neck problems. One day he got the idea to lay back on his couch and prop the system over his head. I found him after school one day frozen in that same pose, I guess he had fallen asleep. He was seriously messed up and after about a week his vision completely failed, Of course that last bit isn’t true (he did fall asleep with it on his head and had a major headache after waking up) but anyone who has ever played the system probably believed it.

Teleroboxer . I really wish I still had it around.

Tennis was the only one I tried.

Mario Tennis was fun, but my favorite was always Mario Clash. Sure, it’s just a 3D version of the old Mario Bros. arcade game, but the simple use of 3D was fun.

Here’s a bit of VB trivia: the Shin Megami Tensei series of games has had classics like Persona and Nocturne released over the years, but the first SMT game to hit US shores was the Virtua Boy game Jack Bros., featuring the SMT mascots.

I have and LOVE a Virtual Boy. It’s currently on loan to my niece in Florida because I just had to share the fun with her.

I’d say Warioland is very good BUT

Teleroboxer roxxorz my boxers.

The Wario game was really good. I didn’t even own a Virtual Boy, but I remember greatly enjoying that game while I was at Target at the booths.

Teleroboxer is pretty great. There’s an emulator floating around that you can play with 3d glasses on your computer.
