$3.66 when I filled up the tank yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised, since it was up in the $3.80s when I last filled it up a couple of weeks ago.
$3.58 yesterday in Yorkville, Illinois, a far exurb of Chicago.
I just paid 4.419 at the bargain station in Campbell, California.
$3.79 in Indiana along I80/90, on Saturday on my way back to Chicago, where it’s around $4+ per gallon.
Technically, my last fill-up was $1680 a gallon, since I bought a new car that came with a full tank of gas.
$4.45 in the LA Valley. It has been a while since I’ve thrown $50 at the cashier and had it not be enough to fill up the tank. sigh
$3.56 in southern Maryland last week.
I drove past an abandoned station where the signs still read 1.63 - I wonder how long they’ve been out of business?
Chattanooga, TN. The price at the pump was 3.62 but around here a certain grocery store gives you .05 off per gallon of gas (up to 20 gallons) for every 50 you spend with them (accumulates over 90 days). We'd built up .50 off, so we paid $3.12 at the pump. W00t!
We have a store here with that same program, and last Xmas I spent a ton of money on groceries. I ended up with enough points for the maximum discount ($2.20/gal), and ended paying $1.07/gal. Felt like the '90s again.
3.63. I filled up my tank Sunday at a BJ’s Wholesale Club in Rochester.
I think it was about 1.33 CDN/litre which is, apparently 4.88 USD/gallon.
Yesterday, $3.89 a gallon in Lake County, on Route 12 1/4 mile north of Lake Cook Road, NW suburbs of Chicago.
I’ve been driving as little as possible lately, so the last time I filled up the car was about 2.5 weeks ago. I believe it was $4.39/gallon. That’s in San Luis Obispo, CA. We often have the highest gas prices in California. We’re Number One!! Oh wait, that’s not a good thing.
With a $.10/gallon discount at Fred Meyer, it was $4.03. Happily, the Prius has a small tank, and a tank lasts us a couple of weeks, minimum. Our month in the RV, however, ran us about $1100.
$3.53 Baltimore, MD
Actually, you bought a tank of gas that came with a free car.
$3.78, Michigan
3.49 and with my rewards card, 3.46.
About a week and a half ago, I was getting low on gas and was excited that, for the first time in a while, I’d be able to get gas for less than $4/gallon. The next day, I went in to get gas … $4.09. Dammit. A couple of days later … it’s back under $4. Dammit.
San Juan PR - 0.937/L which comes out to about 3.54/gal, I’ve since seen some stations @ 0.907/L which is $3.43/gal (no idea why we use 7 mills instead of 9 mills in the nominal unit price, probably has to do with pricing it by the liter).
