what was this 60s show? not tom paxton?

i have this recurring nightmare of the show that was on in the 60s. it usually came on around suppertime. some fat woman was singing some song with lyrics similar to these:
“some time in the evening…
when the lights are low.”
iirc, she was standing there singing, while some guy was sitting at an organ playing it. that was the opening of it. i can’t recall how the show played out, tho.
i have in my head that the show was called the tom paxton show, but i could be nuts.
can any help?

The lady singing doesn’t sound familiar, but the name reminded me of The Lloyd Thaxton Show.
Tom Paxton was a folk singer.

well, i remember the lloyd thaxton thing…definitely not the same show; i also knew that your tom paxton was a folk singer-that’s what had me a bit confused…this was definitely not a folkie show…it was kind of a strange show, but in the 60s one couldn’t be too picky!
thanks,
