Apparently no one in this thread saw the ill-fated pilot of McGurk , where Barney “Morty Seinfeld” Martin played a family dog, who thought he was going to be euthanized. Quite the laugh-fest, this sitcom.

There was one dog named Camille, who looked just fine in her nearly skin-tight dog suit (I was twelve at the time), so I’m surprised the actress seems to have spent the rest of her career doing voice-over work.

Believe it or not I remember that, but I could have sworn that Camille was played by Loni Anderson. I remember even then thinking how silly it was and how could anyone think it would be a success—

then it was just a matter of time before Andrew Lloyd Webber did the same thing only with cat suits instead of dog suits, and music, and became a billionaire. (I wonder if he was watching that night?)
