When I was a kid I read a series of books about two, maybe more, kids who solved mysteries. One of the boys’ uncle owned a junk yard and they had a clubhouse hidden in an old motorhome behind piles of junk. One of the boys was a genius and built all kinds of gadgets from the junk they collected from the yard. Any ideas?
I remember really enjoying them and being envious of the adventures and the gadgets they made.
The Three Investigators. I loved those books as a kid, too! I wonder how they’d read now…
Wasn’t it the Alfred Hitchcock series? These kids had won some sort of contest and had use of a Rolls Royce limosine free for a year. One of them had a leg brace…and their club house was in an abandoned house trailer at the bottom of a pile of junk in a junk yard…
