What were your high school's colors?

What’s wrong with blue and orange? That actually used to be one of my favorite color combinations (as long as it’s predominantly blue with orange accents. Maybe 80% blue to 20% orange at most). These days, it’d be more a deep blue and yellow-orange.

Red and White for my school.

Green and white. Go Kiotes!!

And, yes, it was spelled that way.

They’ve since merged sports teams with another town that was the Indians and now go by the Wildkats (yes, also spelled that way).

Freshman year: green & white.

Sophomore year: black & gold.

Junior & Senior years: red & white.

We moved quite a bit during that period.

Black and orange. Go Tigers!

Cardinal and white.

red and white (don’t ask what shade of red; I’m a guy!)

Myrtle - that’s a new color for me!

Ours were blue and white. Go Hawklets!

Red and Gold. We were the Flames.

Blue and gold. Northeast Ohio. We were the Blue Devils, which made a few Pentecostals and Jehovah’s Witnesses uneasy, but fuck 'em.

Purple and gold. Go Thunderbirds!

The crosstown rivals are purple and white. Still their politically-incorrect native-American mascot and all.

Public high school was garnet and gray. Private school didn’t have any colors.

Am I the only one who doesn’t remember? Class of '76, I remember that much. The vast majority of my classmates were not big school supporters. We barely had a football team, and finished most seasons with zero wins. Attendance was poor at after school events. Academically we were a joke. I graduated third in my class without exerting any effort.

Kelly Green and white (migrating to gold). Morgan Raiders. Sometime after I graduated, they merged with another town and became the Cedar Mountain Cougars (and it looks like the colors are now blue and white).

South High Tigers, orange and black.

Mine was South High Spartans, in green and white. Our rivals called us The Green Weenies.

Red and Blue: the Elwood Panthers. We almost never won a game.

Yeah, but you guys make some really good ketchup!

Red and Gray

Yeah - basically green. But the fight song said, “Be fearless and bold for the myrtle and the gold.” Kinda sad that I still know the lyrics nigh 40 yrs later. :o
