Well he did try to sabotage the guy’s wedding. If I were in Kelly’s shoes, I probably would have done a few things I wasn’t proud of either. And as another poster on here mentioned, morning radio DJs would probably rank near the bottom on the classiness meter anyway.

Well… their figureheads are about as charismatic as a sack of bricks, their economic policies have sent the country (and with it, pretty much the entire fricking world) into a gigantic recession, their foreign policies have ensured that the entire frickin world would hate America for a long long time even without that little recession thing and their collective moral hypocrisy makes the front pages every other week… but by FUCK they can run a smear campaign like nobody’s business.

I used to admire US when I was younger, but the more I know about your country, the less the European countries and US seem to have in common. It feels like the whole of your country has descended into fingerpointing and namecalling instead of any kind of political discourse, and it’s painful to watch what seems like the slow destruction of a democracy.

It’s actually, somehow at the same time, side-splittingly funny and somewhat despair inducing to see your political right pointing at Europe and go HIC SUNT SOCIALISTII! when all of our public infrastructure works in exactly the same way in most cases. The rail network in Finland is set up exactly like Amtrak and our mail carrier is a publicly owned company with some legal obligations to ensure service everywhere in the country.
But yeah, I’ve been lurking here for ages and the board seems to have gone this over multiple times already. So I’m mostly just venting and couldn’t be arsed to make a new thread for it…
