I’m curious.
Well, they’d look like the adult forums, only smaller and more rambunctious.
Each forum would have forums of its own. If you clicked on Cafe Society, for example, instead of getting a bunch of Cafe Society threads, you’d get forums called Music, Art, Film, Comics, Cooking, Star Trek Jokes and so forth. If you clicked one of those, you might get threads, or yet more child forums until you eventually, in the fullness of time, reached the actual threads.
In other words, it would mean extra clicking for no appreciable gain.
**You’re a booger head!
No, you are!**
In other words, kinda like the BBQ Pit…
And sometimes exactly like the BBQ Pit
Imagine a forum drawn by Margaret Keane.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Consider the writings of Cecil Adams.
Compare the writings of Ed Zotti.
That is what child forums would be like, compared to the SDMB forums.
Like their Daddy & Mommy Forums.
Sometimes like The Milkman and Mommy Forums
Too funny: a reviewer back in 1999 observed, “The book gives the impression that Zotti is tired of standing in Cecil’s shadow. Sadly, he shows neither the wit nor the knowledge required to step into the light.”
In your face, Little Ed!
