There are more races than just white and black- are the others indigenous, or were they seeded by alien entities?
I suspect the same thing would happen as is happening now that we have irrefutable proof that Native Americans are indigenous to the Americas and whites are not- ie, nothing.
Some biologists would get some interesting papers out of the fact that creatures from two different planets were somehow able to interbreed. Some racist loonies would claim that this makes whites or blacks superior, somehow. Some racist fundaloonies would claim that this means that either whites or blacks don’t have souls. Most people would probably go on living as usual.
What difference would it make? All of them currently belong to the same species, and in fact all of them are arguably descended from the same quite small population group in prehistoric Africa. At this point, worrying about which of us might ultimately have extraterrestrial ancestry is even more irrelevant from a practical standpoint than arguing about whether redheads were originally Neanderthals.
(By the way, what exactly are “the white races” and “the black races”? Into which of those categories would you put, say, Lebanese, or Italians, or Afghanis, or Moroccans?)
I would hope that the general excitement would manifest mainly around the fact that we would have ireffutable proof of alien life.

It was just a generalisation, listing every race isnt really needed in a hypothetical scenario, I was reading about the “secret” room that is allegedly under the Sphynx and wondered why there is not more excitement about it, unless it holds something or some secret that would turn the world on its head, and I think that news like the aforementioned question would make a difference, a lot of people seem to live with the idea that “white” races are superior, somehow by natural selection, and to learn that they were actually foreign to the planet would cut them down to size.
Also a lot of “black” races that already have problems with people who used to run their countries would feel vindicated in their hatred.
I think if I learned I was not a native to the planet, it would make me feel decidedly odd about it, plus it would explain why we keep on screwing it up environmentally, as we are not supposed to be here!

No, there were Native American people on Haiti before there were plantations. This, of course, has nothing to do with Haiti’s environmental problems, but it does have to do with the fact that there are many non-white, non-black people in the world, which you seem to be ignoring. That’s actually one of the more interesting aspect of this question to me- if blacks are from Earth and whites are from some other planet, where is everybody else from?
actually thats always got me too, leaving the hypothetical to one side for a mo, if we all came out of Africa, like they say we did, then why are some people so different, like Inuits for instance, or chinese, why are we all not black? what is the point of bieng white?
Different environments favour different traits; very, very roughyl, it works something like this: the skin of a white man manufactures vitamin D adequately at temperate latitudes, but he is susceptible to skin cancer nearer the equator; the skin of a black man gives him some protection from the sun’s harmful rays near the equator, but this incidentally prevents him from manufacturing vitamin D so efficiently in the temperate zones. None of this need necessarily kill anyone outright, it only needs to confer a small advantage and it will prevail eventually.
so why are the indiginous folk of Australia black, when the country has every kind of zone within it, and why would white occour, and not just light brown, which would work just as well in western europe, also Inuit people are not white, which you would expect given their climate…
I would not have thought skin cancer was a big consideration as folk didnt live long enough to worry about developing it.

however the theory that the US and Russia have trained “remote viewers” that have seen inside and say there is a conspiracy to cover up the world changing secret in there is a bit of a non starter.
