What would happen if Kim Jong Un Kidnapped Trump?

Okay, so Bigfoot kidnaps Trump…

(…do we let Eric Prince or Eric Trump lead the reconnaissance party into the wilds of Sasquatchewan?)

Japan is the worst possible place. Japan is highly xenophobic to begin with, and they occupied Korea until WWII. Abductions of Japanese citizens by North Korea is a highly sensitive political issue in Japan. North Korean missiles have literally been flying over Japan for 2 decades now. And unlike South Korea, Japan shares very little cultural heritage with North Korea.

First we slather Ivanka in steak sauce…

Have you been reading my dream journal again?

After a year of Hair Hitler, it’s pretty clear he can’t hit a damn thing he aims at. If he has a gun, and he aims at Kim, he’ll miss.

That’s why he’d charge into the school unarmed.

This. Same as Bowe Bergdahl, he’s one of ours, and we will be the ones to decide what to do with him under the laws of the United States.

You wanna cut my throat? Go ahead! You wanna cut my fucking head off and use it for a fucking basketball? You could bowl with the motherfucker for all I care! Just don’t let HIM do it! I don’t want to be killed by this Limey, immigrant jerkoff! I want to be killed by an American jerkoff!

I like this approach.

That there is a pretty low bar, isn’t it??? My George Foreman grill is smarter than Trump.

I disagree. If North Korea kidnaps ‘the most powerful man in the world’ (the US president is in title that person, but I don’t know if I agree. Putin or Xi Jinping is arguably more powerful) and the world does nothing, that shows the world how much power North Korea has.

North Korea wants to be taken seriously as a global power among other things. Letting the world know that even the president of the United States isn’t safe from their clutches would help them achieve that. They have motivation. It is no different than what Russia is doing. Russia could poison people or kill them anonymously in places like the UK, but they intentionally kill people in ways that can be traced back to Russia (Polonium or nerve gas). This is Russia’s way of saying ‘yeah we did it, what are you going to do about it? Nothing’. The killing of Kims brother with nerve gas was probably done with the same motivation.

Also Trump has insulted Kim and the NK regime repeatedly. They torture your family to death for that in NK. So in a way it would be an effective intimidation tactic to their domestic population and the world. Foreign media is flooding into NK, and I’m sure lots of people there know Trump has insulted Kim and the NK regime repeatedly. If they find out Kim meets with Trump and shakes his hand after Trump insulted Kim, that may make the domestic population in NK lose some fear of the regime.

To reiterate, in 1968 North Korea tried to assassinate the president of South Korea. In the 1990s Saddam Hussein tried to assassinate George HW Bush. Neither act caused major retaliation. So there is already a precedent of the world looking the other way when dictators try to kill foreign leaders

Kim wants to be an A-List player. Other presidents haven’t bothered with or insisted on concessions to even give him the time of day. Scoring a meeting with Trump elevates the prestige of NK in the eyes of the world (or at least their own) and boosts their status…for free!

Nothing much to add, except to say there seems to be a great debate in this.

I couldn’t resist…

(post shortened)

North Korea would be nuked into the stone age, which would probably be a step up from where they are now.

Oh, you’re no fun

If Kim Jong Un Kidnapped Trump the two of them would try to make babies together.

I’m wondering if - since it’s said that London bookies let you bet on everything - it’s possible to place a bet on Kim “friendly convincing” Trump to come stay, build the first Trump Hotel in NK, Play golf, get his own Parade …?
And what the Odds are?

So what would the ransom be? How much would we have to pay Kim to keep him instead of sending him back?

CURSE you!! I was totally going to bring up the Ransom of Red Chief!

Any attempts to return the Shit Gibbon to us will be seen as an act of war.
