I’d be having lobster with lemon juice squirted over it.
New York Cherry Cheesecake for dessert.
And, of all simple things, a coke.

A rare filet mignon with bacon and garlic mashed potatoes. Mmmm.
Money is never an option for me, it seems.*
I’d be having lots of sushi with delicious wine to wash it down. For dessert, just because I could, chocolate mousse and strong coffee with cream. Yum.
*I think you meant “object.”
If I’m gonna play this game, money is not object and health is no object.
Lobster with melted butter and lemon, new potatoes rolled in garlic and butter, fresh steam veggies with cheese sauce, lemon merangue pie with wipped cream.
and to drink, probobly a pepsi.
Whatever the top restaurant in NYC is serving.
I’m not a very good cook…
Dinner at my favorite restaurant…
Yummy, cheesey Keshy Yena for appetizer
Grilled tenderloin in their mustard sauce topped with blue cheese
Key lime pie for dessert
And a Red Stripe to drink
Of course I think CALORIES would have to be “no object” for this to happen regularly.
I would go to Emeril’s. We’ve been there twice, and both times the food, atmosphere, and service was excellent.
I’ve also heard of a restaurant called Bern’s over in Tampa. One of these days…
A table for 2 at the best seafood restaurant on the harbor in Sidney. A congenial companion. A great wine list. Gazpacho. Fresh olls with butter creamery butter.
A small green salad with avocado and pine nuts and a crisp salad dressing. Lobster with drawn butter and more fresh bread and roasted veggies… A crisp pilsener for desert. Great conversation.
:smack: :o :smack:
Yes. That.
Whatever my personal chef / nutritional expert come up with that is both tasty and good for me. Seriously, if money was no object, I’d be fat in a month, so I’d have to hire a nutritionist to keep the chef cooking without 4 lbs of butter.
Now, health aside:
Thick, juicy, perfectly tender steak with a peppercorn sauce, asparagus sauteed in garlic and olive oil, a nice chianti, garlic and chive potatoes and a slice of Smith and Wollensky chocolate cake (I seriously thought I had reached heaven when I had a piece of that stuff).
I just decided, I want an appatizer of shrimp scampi added to my meal.
And if there’s room after the pie, a ice cream sundae with hot fudge, marshmallo, mint, and whipped cream.
Dodo egg omelette, followed by Passenger Pigeon Pie.
A nice petit filet, with a lobster tail (steamed, not boiled) with a little drawn butter and a few fried shrimp on the side.
A steamed artichoke.
Some asparagus in garlic olive oil, with parmesan cheese.
Basmati rice with parsley and green onions.
Fresh crusty rolls with butter.
A green salad with a balsalmic vinaigrette dressing.
But dessert is a toss-up- a superb NT cheescake or a hot caramel sundae with whipped cream, nuts and a cherry!
Jeez, I may make this tomorrow!

Sorry about the double-post, thought I’d caught it in time…
Oh, and to drink- either Pellegrino or Blu Italy Lime.
Pretty much what I’m having right now: Homemade cream of potato soup with chocolate mousse for desert. A bottle of Guinness would be nice though.
“Heeere he is. Your Komodo Draagon…”
For starters, a warm bowl of chicken noodle soup. Then a Texas T-bone steak, medium rare, so tender that it slices itself if you just look at it sideways. All covered in thick beef gravy, with rice pilaf and veggies on the side. Ice water or Diet Coke to chase it.
It all depends.
I just had soft spring rolls and Panag Curry (the wife had Princess Chicken) it was all outstanding and only about $30.
Other times we might drop $200 in a nice steakhouse. Single malt scotch, Cesar salads, awesome steaks, garlic potatoes, tiramisu, and coffee.
I’ve also had the most outstanding $10 Prime Rib at the Pink Pony in Vegas once and had big fun at the Mirage buffet on several occasions.
Eating is so much fun…
Well, I’ve already had dinner, but let’s see…
A nice steak, probably striploin, very tender and on the lean side, medium well. Very lightly seasoned.
Maybe something like steamed rice and fresh corn on the side.
lime kool-aid to drink
And golden cake for desert!
