What would you do if you had some webspace?

Please tell me what your possibly-billion-dollar idea(s) are so I can shamelessly steal them and pass them off as my own.
Only kidding. I’ve probably asked this kind of thing before. But I figured no harm in repeating it (unless you count a few extra megabytes of SDMB database usage and screen space as ‘harm’). I’m just looking for inspiration for something to do with my paid-for-but-not-really-being-used-to-any-significant-degree webspace.

I have competency with PHP/HTML/SQL (for producing a database driven website) and am in the process of learning jquery (for making the website more interactive and behave more like an ‘application’ than a traditional website)

At the moment, the most significant portion of my website is devoted to my photography. There’s a blog on there but it has somewhat stagnated (I may remove it)

Basically I’m just looking for ideas. What kind of thing have you wished there was a website for in the past?

I like your style. When I first got on the Internet in the mid 90s, I found that there wasn’t any websites at all regarding history of national anthems, and other things anthem related - sure the information was there to be found, but all over the net on tons of different pages in hundreds of little pieces. I took my small little webspace affrorded each user and made my own site based on my extant knowledge. I’m pleased that it seems to be one of the premiere go-to sites in that field of research, and more pleased that other sites have cropped up since.

As a suggestion based on this, I would say look around, and if there’s something that you know a fair bit on, and you can’t find any information on it, start a site yourself. Granted, I had an easier time than you will, because I started before Wikipedia existed - Wikipedia is pretty much filling that niche right now (proof that my concept works and would have gotten you a billion dollar idea, were it not for that meddling Jimmy Wales.)

Something I briefly entertained was a nostalgia site for New Zealand television I grew up with. Not unlike the British site TV Cream

I’ve wanted to make a social website devoted to officials of sports (referees, umpires, etc). The idea is that they can track the games they play, tagging other officials they worked with, who might also join the site.

I had a backbone setup last year, but dropped it to focus on other sites.
