Actually, we had two of them: Abby Winters until about 5 years ago, and Mike South as of 2012. Both did “ask the…” threads.

Mike south, he’s the one I was thinking of. I know he’s not a troll because I’ve looked at his website. Mike South really is his industry name. and he gave enough information that I believe it was not someone impersonating him.
There’s no way I could turn my back on my child. So I’d figure something out. I wouldn’t be happy about it, though.
Like I said, kidnapping is the only option.
I do wonder if any of the people have veto power. As in “he/she is nasty no way”

I don’t remember Mike South, but Abby certainly checked out as credible.

Well for one thing I’m not claiming to be a porn star. But point taken. 
So maybe you ARE really a porn star.
Well, I don’t have any children. But if I were in this scenario:
•First, I’d be most concerned about their safety—I’m of the generation where protecting against HIV and other STDs was drilled into us almost as much as “always buckle your seatbelt.” No matter what they’re doing, I’d want them to do it safely.
Disease, obviously, is the big worry, but also the worry about “falling into the wrong crowd”—drugs, sleazy people taking advantage of you, going mad with fame and power and burning out…y’know, typical showbiz worries.
•Second, I’d be worried about the financial aspect—y’know, if they’re only doing it because they’re completely desperate for cash, or something, I’d at least try to see if there’s anything I could do to help them financially, to avert doing something they really didn’t want to do.
…or, on the other hand, if they were doing it, not because they had to, but because the money was just insanely good (“Wait…you got paid $50 grand to let someone lick your feet on IMAX for an hour? And you have ten more movies scheduled for this year? Is…is this studio still hiring?”), I’d want to make sure they were being responsible with their earnings. But, I mean, that’s just common sense—especially if it’s in an industry where you might have a limited “shelf life,” and particularly if you didn’t want to do it for a career. Best to have some money in the bank and a marketable skill or degree or something to fall back on.
Really, I’d just want them to be safe, prosperous, and fulfilled. Whatever that may be—tinker, tailor, soldier, porn-star. If they’re not hurting anybody, they’re getting enough food on their table, and they’re happy, that’s what I’d be concerned with.

You know that this almost certain to be harder for you than for your kid, right? For most adult children, never being able to see your parents again is hard, but it’s also, eventually, expected - you’re meant to outlive them, after all. For most parents, never being able to see their children again is devastating. And, of course, the longer the estrangement last, the less your child is going to need you in their life, and the more you’re going to need them them in yours.
Neither of them were either. Abby runs a very lovely lesbian site, and Mike South (IIRC) is a producer.
So in sum, you start JAQing about them being trolls without bothering to look, with a sidebar about throwing ‘nasty’ people off the board. Nice.
I don’t know what JAQ is. No no I meant I wanted to ask the porn star or producer what happens if the actors get there and one of them just can’t stand the other or thinks they are nasty. Can they have veto power and still stay in the movie?
