The obvious counterpart this this thread. Somebody had to do it.
You’re watching an adult video, one probably shot 10 or more years ago, and the “milf” in the scene, a fit blonde obviously wearing a wig, is being cornholed, a scene you’re quite enjoying when you notice a certain, very distinctive mole on her lower back. One you recognize very well, having seen it many times when you were growing up.
Considering my mum is 74, the first thing I’d do would be question my sanity for looking at the video long enough to recognise her; then start looking for a hypno therapist to get the visual out of my head.
Once I no longer had that image in my head, never ever speak of it again, to anyone. Especially mum.
Let’s handwave the age thing by agreeing that the video in the OP is old, but you don’t don’t know how old because you downloaded it off the internet. It could even have been transferred from film before the age of videotape. Could be 30 years old. More. You just downloaded it and started watching.
My mother is 92. Maybe she was in one of the Army training films during WWII?
Truly, I’d laugh my ass off and show it to all my friends. Hell, she wouldn’t care. Her Alzheimers makes her forget what she had for lunch 20 minutes ago.
I would realize I never actually knew my mom at all and that would be devastating, because we’re very close. Also because of all the pain I’ve experienced due to her seemingly being incapable of understanding any type of going against the grain, no matter how mild. Seriously, ever. It’s not that she gets it and doesn’t care, she really doesn’t get it at all because it’s just not in her nature.
My mom got pregnant before marriage when she was 25 with what I’m almost sure was her first sex partner, and then they got married right away, and she thought it was an absolute crisis when my dad decided to tell my sister and me that when we were teenagers, because she considered it a very shameful secret which would be damaging for us to know (when I got pregnant a few years later she blamed it on the fact that my dad told us). My mom has some very old-fashioned views. She has eased up on them a BIT, just due to all three of her daughters going against them and causing her to be moderately realistic, but that’s quite recent.
My mother once was a model for an advertisement for lawn mowers (!!!) and she is shown wearing short-shorts and summer blouse and pushing the lawnmower to show that “even a woman” can run this power mower! A black and white, full page photo ad - I treasure it!
If we’re talking about my specific mother, and not the question in theory, then I would simultaneously be very concerned while a whole lot of other things fell into place. She is really violently anti-porn, and when I was younger and asked about “dirty movies”, she went on a rather scary tirade about how horrible they were and how no woman ever did one of her own free will, that Bad Men kidnapped them and got them hooked on drugs and then made them do Those Things at literal gunpoint. They held the gun just off the camera, she told me, and if the woman didn’t do what they told them, they’d shot her in the head and bring in the next kidnapped girl to do the scene.
Woah. Really, Mom?
She was pretty matter-of-fact and reasonable in other discussions about sex, despite being asexual herself, but that porn question really set her off. Not sure to this day if there’s a story there, or I just caught her at an angry moment that was unrelated but set her off. I’ve never dared to bring it up again.
I’d be horrified and turn it off right away, of course. The daughter thread hypothetical didn’t require me to view my daughters work, man, what were you thinking, OP?!
I wouldn’t disown my mom or anything, though. I mean, I’m sure she had her reasons, and she’s clearly not been too messed up by it (drugs, bankruptcy, the whole Jenna Jameson scare-scenario from the other thread) so, you know, freak freely and all that. Just don’t make me watch!
Mmm, here’s a hypothetical - your Dad - pre-your-Mom - in gay porn…
I don’t choose to watch porn and if I did it wouldn’t be white dudes (and if it was my mom and black dudes that would be even crazier, if that’s even possible) but I answered the question as if I did happen to see it for some reason. Not too long ago at work, some potential customers (two kids around 20 years old) showed me on one of their phones a topless picture of Rihanna, just cuz. Out of nowhere. I doubt that was the last time something like that will happen to me. You just never know.
