P.S. In my last post I failed to account for the other aspect I mentioned previously that makes my position even more obviously correct. And that’s the situation where I walk back up to the window, and the person at the window offers to bring the corrected order out to my car. In that circumstance, it is an even better result FOR EVERYBODY involved, in that there’s not a huge growing line of cars being held up as the problem with my order is rectified.

But no, the OP wants me to get back in line if I wasn’t previously selfish enough to waste everybody’s time by doing a complete audit of my order. :rolleyes:

You’re making a lot of assumptions here. It really doesn’t take that long to check an order. Especially if you’re jsut getting a meal for yourself. If you’re ordering enough food for a football team then the drive-through is not the right place for you.

This is probably the biggest drive-thru faux-pas. I dread the occasions where I get stuck behind a conversion van filled with people who all have special orders, and not every restaurant has a pull-up-and-wait policy for huge drive-thru orders. Then, inevitably, something in that order will be fucked-up and everybody in line has to wait a good 5 minutes before they’re done. >:[

You’ve got a point about the first part - I’m going to stop taking the bait and be done with this thread. As for the second part, these posts show a profound failure to understand:

Instead, since you think you are more important than everyone else, you cut in front of the next person in line and screw up the order sequencing and potentially screw up everyone else’s order. In that situation you would come across as a self-entitled asshole.
