So I hard boiled a couple of eggs, cooled them, peeled, and crushed them. Added some mayo, a bit of mustard, fresh ground black pepper, and a bit of Old Bay. Added the (drained) can of crab, and stirred. Served on buttered toast.
Sadly, it wasn’t very good. The canned crab had no flavor at all. It was like a tasteless ‘filler’ in an egg salad. I’ve done exactly this with fresh crab meat and it was fabulous! Guess I’ll not repeat the purchase of canned crab.
