One day she had a gazillion shows on HGTV and the next-- poof! I really liked her surprise design show even though I thought she got just a teeny bit extreme. I also liked that her designer divaness was right up front. There was no doubt who ran her show.
But alas, now she’s gone. At least I still have my Candi Olsen. I lurve me some giantess design.
She is the executive producer of a lot of shows on HGTV. Plus she has had a couple of seasons of “From the Ground Up” with intern wanna-bes. She’s on the current cover of Chatelaine magazine (a Canadian mag).

Ah, she’s now the boss of everybody. Sounds about right. I barely remember Jennings. Wasn’t she more of a dyi renovator than a designer?
No I don’t think so. IIRC she wasn’t the sort to get down or dirty, just tell you how to make your home look fabulous using swatches and paint chips.
Debbie Travis seems to be on Fine Living (I think, or maybe DIY?) more now…whichever channel it is, we only get it on free previews so I don’t see her as much.
She was (is) a designer by trade, but her father was in construction, so she could do both.
I’ve always thought Debbie Travis was a ridicuously good-looking woman for her age … just learned today that she was formerly a model. I am assuming some relatively subtle work’s been done on her face, but still.
I just loved how she would be running around with curlers in on the brink of the mark coming home on various surprise episodes.
