Where did WGBullonium’s thread about the rational discussion go?
I searched for my name this morning knowing I posted in and was mentiond in this thread last night. But no trace of it exists
What the hell’s going on?

The short answer is: it was deleted. I had it in my History folder from yesterday, and when I clicked on it just now, I got this message:
So–notify the webmaster, I guess, if you still care. And judging by what I recall from the thread, I’d have to ask, “Why?” Somebody picks a fight with Vebbie? Let it go. Sheesh.
I didn’t think it was normal practice to delete a thread by a poster who isn’t Banned (as opposed to being a recognized troll), without any notification or explanation whatsoever.
Maybe I was wrong?
Don’t discount the possibility of a bug in the BBS software.
Lynn Bodoni mentions deleting threads here. Perhaps that explains the disappearance.
IJGrieve, you’ve started at least three threads concerning the moderators/moderation of this message board in recent days. Do you have something meaningful you’d like to bitch about? Or are you just niggling fusspot? If you have a real beef, this would be the place to let fly with it. If all you have are insignificant whinings, I’d suggest agitating yourself into an ulcer over them ain’t worth it.
As to your specific complaint here, sure we’ll delete inappropiate threads. It doesn’t matter who started them. And finally, how (and why) would we notify the members of a deleted thread? I mean, if it’s deleted, it’s gone, right?
I really don’t think that trying to figure out where a thread vanished to is an “insignificant whining.”
That made me laugh.
As for deleted threads…I’m surprised. The only thread I’ve ever heard of being deleted was one that said some -ahem- bad things about new presidents and what evil people might do and stuff. Which I understood.

I feel this is the only thread in which I have questioned the moderation of the board. And the Lynn Bodoni post in the thread linked to by beakerxf doesn’t help much, since WGB isn’t banned, as I would have thought to expect were he considered a “sock”.
Are the other 2 you are referring to my ‘Which Forum’ threads in ATMB?
If so, I posted these threads not to “Bitch” (UncleBeer) but to better acquaint myself with the rules of the different forums and maybe to get an answer that would help clear things up for any other relative newbies who might be lurking at ATMB.
