Available evidence suggests that GoComics is more or less sorted out. I found several news stories indicating the problem was with Andrews McMeel in general.
I never sign up to have comics sent to my email, I always read them onsite.
One would think that the site administrator(s) for GoComics would’ve learned something from the November 2022 incident. But, evidently, one would be thinking incorrectly. With no warning whatsoever, they dropped the Garfield Classics feature. At the same time, the Back to B.C. feature was idling and that idling lasted until just a few days ago. Again, no notification of that.
Yes, I know it’s still a first world problem, but, hey, let me destress without having to hunt around the Internet.
I like to read the comments on the comics, at Comics Kingdom. Unfortunately, I can’t read them without a paywall (maybe free the first couple days of the month). So I just read them elsewhere (Seattle Times or Arcamax) and go to the comments on CK. I subscribe to most comics from the Arcamax site and they’re sent to my mailbox.
I know Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal last I checked had its last strip on Halloween of the past fall. Dunno if GC is to blame or its creator ( Zach Weinersmith)-latter has new strips on his own site, note.

I gave up on those and just read the great comments on the Comics Curmudgeon site*… Josh’s, but also everyone else there is pretty witty.
*The hilarity of deconstructing the Soap Opera Strips is wonderful.
.
eta: I’m taking a break from newspaper strips. Those “Soap Opera Strips”? They’re SO boring right now. Mary Worth, Judge Parker, and Rex Morgan? Even Luanne and Crankshaft? Not a lick of that Inadvertent Hilarity these days.

The site seems to have been down for the last three days. I need my comics fix and gocomic’s competitors don’t carry the strips I prefer to read.
I see that this thread was started 28 months ago and zombified 14 months ago. Welp, 14 months later, right on schedule, it’s happened again (no comix today, not a favorite comic just went away.)
And now today’s comics are up.
Not now. Only the list page is up. Whatever I click on goes to the “This site can’t be reached” page.
When I checked this morning, I was getting Sunday’s strip. Now I’m getting today’s.
I checked Andy Capp. It took me to the 16th’s. I clicked on the navigation button to go to the 17th’s. Then back to the list. And then nothing other than the list page was live, and even that is unreachable now.
ETA: And now everything is up, but clicking on the comic’s link takes me to the 16th and then I click to go to the 17th’s.
Ever since they put the “Things are going to change in April” banner up, I’ve been super nervous. I’m really not looking forward to the horrors that await us
This morning, when I loaded my Comics I Follow page, 5 of 6 had allegedly not updated. Funny, my notification email had 6 of 6 with new strips.
It’s working correctly for me at this moment.
I have noticed that ever since the banner went up. It seems that the pages don’t load smoothly. If I dare to venture into the comments, as I scroll up the page it will reload multiple times moving whatever I’m trying to read up, down, or totally off of my screen.
I believe GoComics announced they’re rolling out a new version of their site soon. Maybe these are just hiccups on the way to that.
I’ve noticed there seems to be aa time limit when reading non sequitur, so long and then stops. Apparently Go Comics also seems to eat up a lot of space
I just got an email about the update, which described a bunch of new features which I couldn’t care less about, along with the news that the annual rate is being increased. Although as a previously loyal customer they’re going to graciously let me have the next year at a reduced rate.
has anyone noticed that when viewing older years, some days do not appear, only comments?
If I try to go to the site today, I get “request is blocked.” Not seeing any other posts about that‐-is it just me?
I got some kind of ‘Oops! Can’t find that!’ this morning. But I just tried it and it seems to be working fine. If they demand money from me now, I can find comics I follow elsewhere online…I can read, but can’t comment without signing in, and when I press ‘sign in to post’ it doesn’t take me anywhere useful.
