Weird things are happening over at the Amazing Race thread for this week’s episode. While the link in my UserCP shows three pages with the last post by Askia, when I get onto the thread itself, it shows a link for a fourth page, and Askia’s post isn’t anywhere on Page 3. When I click the link for the fourth page, I get taken back to the top of Page 3. I can’t get to later posts by substituting post numbers above 150 in the url for individual posts either.
Something similar is happening to the Weekly Comic Book Discussion - it hasn’t hit 2 pages, but it’s longer than the index claims, the wrong post is listed as last, and it’s not jumping to the top of the index.
I see that happen now and then - it’s not permanent. Seems to straighten itself out after a couple more posts have been made.
There had been some weird things going on with the board earlier today because the hamsters were hiccupping.
These phenomenon are usually a function of an overloaded server.
But, hey!, I could get a server for $200/month that wouldn’t do this… 
Yeah, but then they’d make you sit and watch those animated borderless popups you can never find the “close” button for, with singing, dancing laptops, every time you changed pages…
