What's happening?

Would you complain if the fuel in your tank had water in it and caused your auto to stop running? What if a third of next year’s NG issues didn’t show up, or were torn in half when they arrived? A decent meal is worth that. We’re bitching about a cold dish which isn’t what we ordered.

What if your meal was less than tasty? Would you complain? What if National Geographic gave you a series of bad articles? Would you complain? What if the fuel causes your gas milage to go down by 25%? Would you even notice???

Perspective, folks, perspective.

If my meal was less than tasty from a place that commonly had good food, I would say something quietly on the way out.

If a magazine I liked started going downhill, I would stop subscribing or buying. In fact I did that with my local paper 7 years ago, not too long after Gannett bought them out.

I would notice if a gas station’s gas lowered my mileage, I commute far to far daily and I have always paid attention to my gas mileage.

What exactly was your point? I must of missed it.

Then don’t be a paying participant. What part of this equation are you not understanding?

If the search function isn’t back by July, I won’t. I’m not a charter member. I am perfectly willing to let my membership lapse for as long as I want.

My point is that most people won’t do squat about that. Or, if they do something, they do so in a measured, reasonable way (you know, that perspective thing I keep trying to tout here). They don’t throw tantrums and demand satisfaction, etc.

Perspective. Again, that’s all I’m suggesting.

Excuse it all away, if that be your bent. For some of us, this represents the latest insult. Complaints, pleas, and suggestions have been ignored for years, or answered with some utterly vague noncommitment to addressing the source of our ire. That’s my perspective, and I’m not alone.

Just a bad thought, but it would not come to the point where they just decide to shut down the Board altogether I hope. Like it becomes too much trouble to hassle with. Software problems, members grumbling and leaving etc. Would they? :frowning:

That won’t happen. Trust me.

Trust me=get bent.

I guess everyone is a mod to you.

Why would you say/assume that?
