There are still people around who call me Mo on occassion.
I address GaWd as Sam, because…well, because that’s his name and he doesn’t seem to mind.

I suppose what I’m saying is it seems to be more a “spirit of the law” thing than a “letter of the law thing.” If that makes sense. If changing the user name is intended in a derogatory manner, then it certainly makes sense the rule should be observed, but if Excalibre is being sincere, then no malicious intent was meant. So, yeah…ruling please?

but my comment about thin skinned still holds true for me. Hell, some one years ago did an intentional gig on my user name and all I did was a mental " :rolleyes: " - I mean it didn’t even rise up to the level of posting a rejoinder. that’s the sort of thing a child under 5 would get bent about, I would think. Criminey, IRL, folks used to intentionally mis prounounce my real first name in jr. high (damn the association and their hit song!), and even then all I did was the mental :rolleyes:

If it clarifies anything for anyone, I’d like to mention that the mangled form of my username in question has been used as invective on the “boards we do not discuss” for some time, now. I’m willing to give the “accident” excuse the benefit of the doubt, however; I can see how it could have simply been an oversight. It’s just not worth getting overheated about. If he did it on purpose, it’s just childish. If not, then no harm done.
