No idea why that’s in my clipboard, but there you go.
Someone on Facebook posted this. It wasn’t obviously real, so I copied the link to look at it and make sure it was safe.

“Make your choice, adventurous stranger;
Strike the bell and bide the danger!
Or wonder till it drives you mad,
What would have followed if you had…”
I’ve been reading the TVtropes on the Narnia books…I’d forgotten how awesome that little bit of verse is, and put it as my F’book status.

I was assembling my pirate radio show!
I was searching for information on Lou Christie’s hit song. I couldn’t remember if there was a G in the title, so when I found the title somewhere online I copied it and pasted it into Google.
It turned out to be a link to a file I uploaded for a friend a few days ago. I’m afraid i can’t share as I’m not sure it would be allowed. I had to think for a moment what it could be actually. Surprising, I think typically I use my clipboard a lot more often than that.
My Facebook status I copied from a friend. Ask me about breastfeeding!

Part of my hesitance, I’ll be totally honest, is that home health care still has something of a stigma for nurses, at least in Illinois. It’s viewed as that job you get when you can’t get a “real” hospital-based job. There’s some indication that that is changing, though - one hiring manager told a friend of mine that he’s now looking for people with some experience in home health care before he’ll hire them for his hospital. (Which is rather infuriating, since the industry standard for home health care is a minimum of two years of nursing experience in the hospital!)**
Part of an email to one of my moms, telling her about my new job. I’ve taken it, despite it not being even remotely related to my dream job, because it’s still a job, and now I can pay my rent! But I still feel a little weird “settling” for what many people have convinced me is a lesser form of nursing.
Somebody on another forum (our local newspaper’s Entertainment forums) asked for suggestions on message boards about film and doesn’t like the IMDB. I let them know about Cafe Society and haven’t copied anything since. Not sure that SDMB Cafe Society is what they’re looking for, but figured it couldn’t hurt for them to check it out.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\clipbrd.exe
Just in case you don’t use this utility because of not knowing where to find it, it’s one I have a hot link to on my desktop. Now and then it comes in handy for editing screenshots and other such things.
If it matters, I had to look it up since it wasn’t among my Accessories. Somebody else told me about it and now I’m telling anybody who didn’t know about it.
I’m currently playing in a Mafia game on another board. In my clipboard is the following:
Going again:

That was a garbage serial number I made up for testing a length validator.

Nothing. I haven’t hit ctrl-c since I logged in this morning.
Same here.
INNER JOIN HS…T_IVVal t ON t.IV = x.IV and t.pfoval = x.pfoval and t.pfo = x.pfo
it’s a JOIN hidden in 5 pages of TSQL code which is including something it shouldn’t.

This prompts an idea I had long ago:

ASTM D638 is covered in the Plastics Division of ASTM (D20). In 2004, they set a requirement that an extensometer is needed to measure elongation at yield & break. At that time, ASTM Committee D35 on Geosynthetics promulgated ASTM D6693 as a replacement for this method. ASTM D6693 does not require an extensometer, and elongation at yield & break are calculated from crosshead movement. The rationale for this is that there is no slippage in the grips, and the dog-bone shaped specimen limits the elongation to the thin section of the specimen. ASTM D6693 is also the only Tensile method listed in the GRI GM13 & 17 Standards.
(100 * WPI) - (100 * CERN)
It’s the formula for a stock spread for the charting software I use. Long 100 shares of WPI, short 100 shares of CERN.
