I’m don’t see how anybody could be disappointed in Cousins. It was his first year as a starter and his numbers were great. Hopefully he won’t command a top dollar cap number so you might have some money leftover for a few other players.
It’s way too early to give him top-tier quarterback money, but it’s also way to early to call him the next Nick Foles. It’ll be really interesting to see where his contract ends up, given how insane the market has been even for midrange NFL-calibre quarterbacks (looking at you, Ryan Tannehill!)
