Usually I’m pretty good at this, but all the ones I knew were figured out with the quickness.

Is it “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty?

#15 Skating Away, Jethro Tull

#34: Summer Rain, Johnny Rivers

#36 Superstar, can’t remember the artist but it’s playing in my mind right now.

I think #2 is San Francisco, but it’s out of order alphabetically so maybe the lyric was used elsewhere as well???

#22 is “South Side” by Moby
#37 is “Surrender” by Cheap Trick

Superstar is by The Carpenters. (Hey, its a good song!)

And my bad. The correct answer to #1 should be “Salsbury Hill”, not “Solsbury Hill”, which would make San Francisco in alphabetical order for #2.

7 more correct answers leaves only 10 unsolved lryics to go.

20) "I hear a song from another time, and fade away"

Someday by Sugar Ray

Okay, I’ll get the Springsteen. 6 is Seeds and 24 is Spirit In The Night.

I’ve always seen it “Solsbury.”

Well, all of the ones I know are already gone except -

  1. Shooting Shark - Blue Oyster Cult
  1. Neil Diamond - Solitary Man

is the only other one I know. I would have played earlier, but all the internet in town was out for nine or so hours today.

5 more solved clues leave only 5 unsolved lyrics remaining.

#16 is “Skid Row” from Little Shop of Horrors.

I always see these too late. I’ll just add two corrections: it is “Solsbury Hill” (not a misspelling of Salisbury; there really is a Solsbury Hill), and it’s “mellow-thighed chick” in “Suffragette City.”

I always see these too late as well. (Not that it would matter, I don’t know lyrics.) “Salisbury” is a song on the Uriah Heep album of the same name, but those aren’t the lyrics. Biffy is right; Peter Gabriel wrote “Solisbury Hill”.
And, while the Carpenters *performed * “Supertstar” it’s by Bonnie Bramlett and Leon Russell. The definitive version is Rita Coolidge’s on “Mad Dogs and Englishmen”. (I’m just sayin…)

Good catch, Snooooopy. That was a hard one. Four more to go.

You are absolutely correct regarding “Solsbury Hill”. It was mislabled in my MP-3 player. And thanks for the correction on Suffragette City (although I like my version better).
