What's on your Google Reader?

What do you read daily?

I’ve got 30 subscriptions, but my favorites are:
[ul]
[li]New York Times[/li][li]Obsidian Wings[/li][li]The Becker-Posner Blog[/li][li]The Daily Dish (Andrew Sullivan)[/li][li]The Volokh Conspiracy[/li][/ul]

Daily (or whenever it comes out), I read: xkcd, Snopes New Urban Legends, Woot!, and about six local blogs about dining locally.

I subscribe to, but have in a different folder under Google Reader (so it doesn’t show up in my regular feeds on the main page): Fark Videos, Unclutterer, Candy Addict, Apartment Therapy)… I only read these when I am uber bored (although Fark Video about weekly).

I just started using Google Reader and Newstand (awesome feed-reader app for the iPhone) a few days ago and have no idea how I lived without them.

Anyway, here’s the feeds I have thus far:

[ul]
[li]Kotaku[/li][li]Joystiq[/li][li]GoNintendo[/li][li]1Up[/li][li]Destructoid[/li][li]MTV Multiplayer[/li][li]Penny-Arcade[/li][li]Snopes[/li][li]AppleInsider[/li][li]Engadget[/li][li]Wired[/li][li]Google Blog[/li][li]Seattle Times[/li][/ul]
Yeah, I’m a bit of a gamer :stuck_out_tongue:

I currently have about 150 subscriptions. A large percentage of these are comics, so they update just once a day, if that often. And many others are also infrequent updaters. I try to keep up on those that have stopped updating completely and remove them.

I’ll list the folders I group the subscriptions in, with explanations where useful.

[ul]
[li]About comics (Blogs from creators of web comics; web comics reviews blogs, web comics news blogs)[/li][li]Amazon (Blogs from Amazon.com)[/li][li]Asia (English language blogs originating from Asia)[/li][li]Authors (Blogs from authors whose books I read)[/li][li]Bible (Currently just a daily Bible verse blog)[/li][li]Comics[/li][li]Consumer Reports (Blogs from their site)[/li][li]General (Blogs that don’t fall in other subject folders I use)[/li][li]Google[/li][li]Humor (For instance, the “I Can Has Cheezburger?” site)[/li][li]NY Times (Blogs from the New York Times site. Currently only “The Lede” blog)[/li][li]Photography[/li][li]Politics[/li][li]Reuters (Blogs from Reuters.com)[/li][li]San Diego (Blogs from people living in the San Diego area)[/li][li]Science[/li][li]Science Fiction[/li][li]Slate (Blogs from Slate.com)[/li][li]Sports[/li][/ul]

Until this thread, I was unaware of Google Reader. I went to investigate then starting setting it up by first going through some of the recommended items. The first one I clicked on contained this article(NSFW).

I love it for nothing else than just showing this to me.
