What's on your wall?

What is the most interesting item on the wall in the room where you are now?

A picture of Jason Alexander in his underwear.

My room has four walls. Each wall has shelves with books. The back of the door to the room, and the front of the closet door are covered with various stickers. One section of one wall has a collection of items “push pinned” to it. Of them the most interesting is my privite phone number listing.

Paint. at the moment

There’s a somewhat interesting photo of the moon

How do you define wall?

A photograph of a French Bulldog standing on a rock, behind whom is a sign saying “To the Sacrificial Table —>”

A Hawaiian lai and a July 2002 calendar page with rolling green fields and a quaint farm.

Toss up between a poster of Hieronymous Bosch’s The Temptation of St. Anthony and a flyer from my college days advertising the Russian club (the header reads “Come and join us for some spiritual healing!!” and it’s got a picture of Rasputin underneath).

A Poster courtesy of the Young America’s Foundation…

The Picture: Bill Clinton Smiling and Waving
The Caption: “Crime Wave”

A cubist painting of a small town in Spain, painted by my Grandmother.

Christmas wrapping paper.
My son put it up. It looks nice.

An etching by Kerr Eby. More specifically, an etching of the window at St. Ouen, Rouen, France. I found the etching in a barn and had it restored and framed. A copy of the same etching is in the San Francisco Musueam of Fine Arts and you can see an image of it at their website.

Aside from miscellaneous posters, the most interesting thing is a candy wrapper that a Chinese friend brought back for me from Shanghai. It’s a colorful foil wrapper, embossed all over with pictures of Mao on it. I mean, the dude’s even on the candy!

Eating Mao? Hmmm. That makes me think of all kind of hidden meangings.

The most interesting thing in here is a photo mom took of me at age 17, working on a road construction project (co-op while in college). I have two Pocahontas style braids down to my waist, and I’m wearing a hard hat & a “yes” t-shirt.

Groooooovy, baby.

Paint and shadows.

Let’s see–here at work I have a poster of Antonion Bandaras reading Don Quixote. It’s one of those American Library Association “READ” posters. Beside that is a shelf with my Bat Manuel action figure and a Junie B. Jones doll.

Hmm… Probably the big origami piece of of red cranes and gold knots on a teachest paper background. It’s from a local artist.

i’m in a cubicle. there is nothing interesting. on the walls of the room in which my cubicle is in - nothing interesting. however, the guy across from me has some very colorful ziggy posters.

pathetic.

Right now, on the wall next to me at work are:

A print of “A Friend in Need” by C.M. Coolidge (a dogs playing poker picture).
Salvador Dali’s Metamorphosis of Narcissus
Edvard Munch’s The Scream
A very old picture of my kids (from about six years ago)
A fairly recent 8 x 10 of my daughter that I took with our digital camera, printed on my printer and framed myself.
