That story just says they think they know where bin Laden is – somewhere in the Pakistani province of Balochistan – but they don’t dare send in troops because the province is full of Taliban and al-Qaeda supporters and a U.S. military presence might spark a civil war that would threaten Pervez Musharraf’s government. Which is a case of common sense prevailing, for once. I wonder if that will change before 11/2?
