I’ve reached a plateau in Gran Turismo 3 on Playstation2. Using the PS2 control pads, I feel clumsy and overcorrect too much. I tried a low-end steering wheel/pedal setup and it was even worse.
What’s the best controller to use for this game?

I ran this question past Bonzo, age 15, our resident Playstation Expert, currently multitasking by watching Scooby Doo, playing Okage, and eating two peanut butter sandwiches. The conversation went thus:
Me: This guy in GQ wants to know what’s the best controller to use for Playstation 2 Gran Turismo.
Him: What?
Me: He says he’s at a plateau, and he wants to know if a different controller would help. So what kind of controller should he get?
Him: It doesn’t matter.
Me: What?
Him: Tell him that getting a different controller won’t help his sucking at Playstation.

Sorry Rodney - I’m with Bonzo. Just keep practicing with the pads, I actually find many driving games easier with pads. It just takes practice, not a quick fix.
