Since I guess I qualify as third party, continuing with covering pre-existing conditions and increased support for gay marriage during Obama’s second term would be good.
I’ll copy Peanut Gallery’s answer. If Romney wins, at least people will be up in arms again about extrajudicial killing of American citizens, and prisoners held indefinitely without ever appearing before a judge.
Not so fast. Many analysts predicted that the US economy would be stagnant or decline between 2008-2012. A significant recovery in that timeframe, given what went down, was just not realistic.
This time around we have much more reason to be optimistic. There’s a good chance that whichever party wins in 2012 they’ll be able to claim credit for 4 years of significant growth.
I can do a decent Romney imitation, that might good for a laugh or two.
I don’t know why people think that. The VP doesn’t have to be involved in anything. He’d just sit in his office and do nothing unless there happened to be a tie vote in the Senate.
