What's the best way to carry a cell phone?

I got my Razr back in January. The coverage/reception is similar to what I had with the phone before, which was 6 years old.

My biggest beef with the Razr is the menus. There are so many cosmetic settings that it’s a pain trying to find the right menu to change the useful things. (No I don’t need any games, or a wallpaper for my phone.)

My second beef has to do with programming buttons. The razr has 4 buttons on the sides. Only one of them is programmable. Why one of the buttons is permanently set to voice dialing, I don’t know.

I would recommend looking into the software that Motorola sells for the Razr. It’s a $30 download. It allows for uploading you phone numbers from a PC address book (no more trying to type in a name using the phone keypad) and it lets you download any pictures you take, without having to pay the data transfer fees to your provider. I found the software at the Motorola website.

My manservant’s manservant carries it inbetween his buttcheeks! With a bluetooth head set connected to his mouth and ears, so I just speak into him.

Seriously though, I carry it in my pocket. I keep hearing about how it’s going to make me sterile; is there any truth to that?

I have an LG with camera, which I carry in my shirt pocket. (With camera was free, without actually cost  ) I can’t believe there is that much condensation there.

I tried the belt holder for a while, but it was a real pain in the car. It’s hard enough to get the phone out and open in my shirt pocket.

I carried my last one there. and it lasted until Sprint screwed up my bill one too many times.

The other night I was at a concert and didn’t have pockets, so I put my phone in my bra. You actually couldn’t tell it was there at all, except my best friend saw me do it and punched me in the chest were he knew it was. We get a lot of odd looks.

I have a Samsung phone that fits in the little coin pocket of my jeans, along with my ever-present tube of Chapstick. If I wear dress pants, I put it on the belt clip or in my purse. I hate wearing it on the belt clip.

Mixed.

The size is great. Large, bright screen.

I find the OS lacking in some areas. Phone book is especially limp. Trying to figure out how to send a photo to an email address is enough to make the Baby Og cry.

Correctamundo.

It’s not as indispensable as a wallet (which carries your idenitifcation and cash) or keys (which actually allow you to get back INTO your house or your car).

If you think that your cell phone is as indespensable as those things, then you PROBABLY have an over-inflated sense of how important it is that people be able to reach you.

Where do I carry mine? If I must, I carry it in my hand to the car and put it on the seat. When my wife’s business takes her out of town, she carries hers in her purse.

Just you wait . . .

I use a Samsung SPH-A920 phone. I carry it in a horizontal pouch and I absolutely love it. The pouch doesn’t poke me in the ribs and it doesn’t hang on anything.

Or. . .go the opposite extreme. Anyone remember bag phones? They looked like something used to call in an airstike in WW II.

My phone came with its own case and handy shoulder strap, so, I dunno. I guess I could use a duffel if I wanted to put it in something else.
