I know that this is a very subjective question and I’m open to any system that dopers use. I’d just like to get a better sense of what’s OK and what’s not. So if I feel I’ve been flamed how can I easily get a ruling without creating a bigger problem?
I generally base it loosely on whether it’s an ad hominem attack or not.
YOU ARE WRONG: not flaming.
YOU ARE WRONG BECAUSE… : even better.
YOU ARE STUPID: flaming.
I just report the post. Mods get an email, check it out, and warn if they see fit.
