What's the first thing you think of when I say the name "Morgan Fairchild"?

If I say the name “Morgan Fairchild”, what’s the first thing that pops into your head?

Morgan Fairchild is currently in Kansas City starring in a play at a local dinner theater. A week or so ago I was driving home for lunch and listening to a call-in show on the local NPR station, and she was on as a guest. I thought the host missed a great opportunity for a joke by not introducing his guest as “Morgan Fairchild…”

“…whom I’ve slept with.”

When I was telling this to my wife that evening, she didn’t get the joke - the reference went completely over her head. I figured most people (or at least those in the 40ish-50ish age range) would get it, but maybe I’m wrong and it’s not as well-known as I thought.

Nothing, really. I vaguely remember her as being some actress in the 80s, but I couldn’t tell you for sure what she’s been in. (Looking it up, it’s probably Dallas I know her from. ETA: Actually, probably not. It looks like she was only on there for one episode, and it would have been when I was about 3.) Otherwise, not really sure. I’m almost-40, so maybe I’m a hair too young to associate her with anything specific.

First Morgan Freeman, just because I hear ‘Morgan’. But then I think of Chandler’s mom. Well, really I think of Chandler’s dad, but then I realize that was Kathleen Turner and that Morgan [del]Freeman[/del]Fairchild played his mom.

Strangely enough, a Drew Friedman story, probably in Raw, in which she shows up at some loser’s party with a couple of her supermodel friends.
