Googling tells me that it’s actually Lady Elaine Fairchilde I’m thinking of. It also tells me that she looks a lot like Quentin Tarantino.
OK, so I guess the Jon Lovitz Pathological Liar bit with “My wife… Morgan Fairchild… whom I’ve slept with” isn’t as widely known as I thought it was.

I just think of Morgan Fairchild when I hear the name, no role in particular. But I do get the reference to the joke, there was a missed opportunity there.
“My wife…Morgan Fairchild! Yeaaahhh…that’s it!” is what I think of. But I’m a little too young to remember when she was even a B-list celebrity. She was somebody who was on daytime game shows and made sitcom appearances playing vaguely veiled versions of herself who added nothing to the plot. One of those “famous for being famous” types. It’s been long enough since Friends’ first season that what was once a semi-stunt casting then is now just “the one who plays Chandler’s mom”.
I’m familiar with the SNL character. Forgot he claimed he slept with her. Yeah, that’s the ticket.
