This is a spinoff of the “Eating When Ill” thread.
For me, it’s anything with tomatoes. No, I never got sick from them AFAIK, but if I’m feeling sick in ANY way, I have no desire to eat anything with tomato content, not even vegetable soup.

Something fatty and rich. Not sure exactly what, but when I’m really sick, the thought of something like a greasy hamburger or pulled pork makes me queasy.
Fish.
I normally like fish of all kinds but not when recuperating. Maybe if I could eat it without smelling it…
It’s been months since I was treated - ended in early August - and I still have trouble with refined sugar.
For me it’s all things dairy.
Anything that kinda looks vomity before actually being ingested is probably a good start…
But after being sick…simple foods are what I need to start with.
Super sweet anything. I had a stomach virus last spring. I started wanting unsweetened tea ( kinda weak tea, too). I have been taking tea like that since then. This is sweet-tea central. People think I am crazy or I’m gonna put 20 sweet-n-low pkgs. in it at the table. Nope just unsweet, thanks.
Anything “heavy” which to me means most proteins. I also lose appetite for anything sweet.
Tonight I’m going to make some cheese ravioli with pesto and the last two Italian sausages in the freezer. I could have soup/grilled cheese yet again but my husband’s beginning to balk at it. Then again he’s not ill.
Ditto. Especially salmon.
Crunchy ragged stuff like chips. I envision it tearing up my throat and stomach.
I don’t like fast food much normally, but when I’m sick, the thought nauseates me – chunks of fat and horrible cheap carbs.
Not quite “last,” but coffee takes a huge hit when I’m sick. It’s part of my staple diet normally – I have coffee with cream or butter as my whole breakfast most days, but coffee becomes completely unpalatable when I’m ill and it really screws up my eating schedule.
Otherwise, anything fishy. If my palate is off, anything that lives in water will taste like nothing but an unpleasant fishy flavor. I’ve made the mistake of having high-end sushi with a bad cold once, and I probably spent over fifty bucks on food I could barely force down.
