I usually read it every day, occasionslly I’ll skip a day if I’m busy or tired. Earlier this summer I went about a week and a half without reading it while I was on vacation. I also didn’t read the SDMB at all when I went to Washington DC a couple months ago. It was probably about 6 days or so.
Four days when the power went out in January due to an ice storm. I was cold, bored and without my daily dose of the SDMB. It was hell, I tell ya!
In late 2000, I took a couple of months off, just to see if I could. Then a little while after I came back, the board crashed and I didn’t bother to sign up with the temp board. Since then, the longest I’ve been off is about three weeks when I was in the hospital this summer.
I didn’t read it most of March and April.
A week and a half, when I was on vacation once.

Seven or eight months, back in late 1999 if I remember correctly (a few months after I joined). I got in a dust-up with somebody (in GD or the Pit, don’t recall) and I left in a huff. Actually it was a minute and a huff. 
Seriously, I was so pissed I just lost all interest. (I’ve tried looking back to see what happened, but the messages don’t seem to be around any more.)
Anyway, eventually something happened to re-pique my curiosity, and I’ve been back since, with a much mellower attitude. During this latest stretch, the longest break I’ve had was I think seven or eight days at least twice, for vacations during which I was traveling without web access.
A week or two in January or February, I guess. It took me a while to get hooked after joining up in December of '02 and I had other boards to keep me busy anyway.
Since getting snared, maybe a day or two every once in a while.

The 49 days I was at BMT was my longest drought.
Well, there was a long lapse when I only had dial up access, ‘cause Day o’ Hell is just too damn slow.
Since I’ve been really active though, probably 10 days while on vacation.
I had the DT’s after day 4. Wasn’t pretty.
Well, some of the spiders were kind of pretty, but the way they kept dancing up my arms was creepy.
