I planned to write an essay on Cardboard Boxes in school. Never did. Maybe I will one day.

I am an E-4 in the United States Air Force, specifically the Pennsylvania Air National Guard. I also happen to think that Jim Morrison is the most underrated literary giant of the 20th century and I think that the Doors are without question the best band of all time. I chose the specific format of my screenname because it struck me as vaguely Gomer Pyle-ish, and at the time, well, let’s just say that my attitude has changed since then. But it’s what people know me by and I am without a doubt proud of what it represents, so keep it I shall.

I chose Clothahump because I’m older than I like to think I am and getting smarter every day. Plus, I’m relatively hardshelled about things.

Clothahump is the name of the elderly Turtle Wizard in Alan Dean Foster’s excellent Spellsinger novel series.

Way back when, I chose Dante because I went through hell and back to quit drinking.

Now I go by BigHeadWeb on most other message boards I belong to. I have a giant melon (seriously, my wife fears having my baby), and Web is what all my friends call me (part of my last name IRL). I’ve been considering changing it here.

I just came off a six-week stint of “The Philadelphia Story” at my community theater. Hard work, good times – little did I know there was already a C.K. Dexter Haven around!

well, my name comes from a few sources…

  1. The comic Real Life, wherein we are introduced to the first shirt ninja, or “Shirt Ninja Prime”, if you will.
  2. Someone else already possessing the name “Shirt Ninja” (for we are legion, you see)
  3. My having heard of an anime series called “Golgo 13”
  4. My inability of think of anything i liked better at the time.

My Doper name consists of 2 parts. My university nickname Shak, plus my own addition, to make it sound like shockwave… :o like a cool hacker alias or something…
