What's the most interesting car you saw today?

I saw my first Polestar 2 today. 4 doors, and a dark grey they call “Thunder” on their website.

A nice 1962 Dodge Dart 440 station wagon.

Who ya gonna call?

ISTM if June Cleaver would have went for a station wagon, that would be it.

Yesterday I saw an orange,2nd Generation Honda Civic in good condition.

I actually saw this McLaren last Friday, but I forgot to post it earlier.

I spotted a Nissan Pulsar wagon today. Looked pretty much like this, only much worse condition.

I always thought the Pulsar to be a homely vehicle. This is just worse, IMO.

A pretty neat find, though, if only because I’m pretty sure the “wagon” was a pretty rare option.

And if I remember correctly, I think that rear cap was actually removable, so depending on how much space you needed you could swap it out for the regular hatchback. Goes off to Google it

Yep, it was.

The new Toyota Supra, 5th-gen, since 2019 — are you a fan or not?

Ummmm… Is that stock? Or was the topper added? It’s ugly for sure, but looks like it could be somewhat practical.

See the Jalopnik article I posted yesterday. It was an option you could buy from Nissan. The hatchback was removable, and you could put that thing on in its place, or vise-versa.

I’d take a Supra if someone would hand me one. But I can’t afford it. They do have a good presence at the racetrack.

I’m actually not terribly keen on the styling. They remind me a bit of the underpowered, overweight-but-nice-handling Mazda MX-3. The Supra looks like one of those mated with a BMW Z3.

I just saw this, which appears to be two VW Microbus bodies, mounted back to back, on top of a regular bus.
My original guess was that it was a hacked together double decker bus but I’m wondering if it’s meant for storage up top, not people. Maybe for a small, but getting bigger, band to use for touring.
There’s also some type of metal stack/chimney running up along side the green bus. Maybe there’s a makeshift kitchen/cooking area? I really don’t know on this one.
FWIW, it’s parked on a place people commonly store their RVs (and classic cars) during the winter.

I’m thinking those are bedrooms, possibly ‘snoring’ and ‘non-snoring’.

There is a white three wheeled Solo that I have seen here in Portland. The thing has a hundred mile range and takes 12 hours to recharge-I wouldn’t want it.

Appears to possibly have a woodstove as well. And a deck between the VW’s on top.

Be careful of low bridges. What an odd and interesting set up. I have a best friend that was born to late to be a serious hippy, but she would absolutely adore this set up. I would just worry constantly (that’s sort of my job).

A Tesla Plaid that didn’t have the Plaid logo, but it simply had the word PLAID. That’s the first time I’ve seen that in the wild.

I saw a 2022 Ford E-Transit. I wouldn’t have known except it had a huge E-Transit ad on the side, I think it was a U-Haul vehicle, or at least a rental of some sort so the advertising makes sense.

A Camero painted in camouflage. It is was an odd choice.
