What's the most interesting car you saw today?

Have you already confirmed w/ GM it doesn’t have the battery issue?
And would you buy one again?

A Triumph TR3 in British Racing Green.

Late 60s Lincoln Continental convertible, copper, with suicide doors.

Thanks for that. I hadn’t seen that. I just got mine a week ago, so hopefully it doens’t have this issue, but I’ll check with the dealer.

I’m leasing it, and so far I’m very pleased with it. Lots of cool features (e.g., it has cameras all the way around, and when you’re going less than 5 mph, you can get a bird’s eye view of the car on screen, which is really nice when you’re parking). Surprisingly good interior room, including a really roomy back seat. And it’s fun to drive. Instant torque! I’ll have to see how it ages, but after a week, it’s the most enjoyable car I’ve ever had.

A 260z that my friend is restoring to take vintage racing. He’s working on the interior now and doing a stellar job.

This was back on July 14, but I didn’t know what was going on then and just thought of searching for it today.

A line of two dozen Lamborghinis, a lot of Aventadors but with others mixed in, on Bainbridge Island, WA. My wife and I were driving onto the island and the cars were heading off the island after coming from Seattle on the ferry. We had no idea what they were doing at the time but I found a story about it today:

‘Life is ridiculous’: Why two dozen Lamborghinis rolled through downtown Seattle

Like a man quoted in the story said, "I only wish my son was here.”

A late 80’s Porsche 944 - looking pretty sad to my eyes.

BMW i8. Sharp looking car!

I saw a car with Nunavut plates.

There are no roads that connect Nunavut to the rest of the world – there are only airplanes and summer ships.

Nunavut has 530 miles of roads spread over 787,155 square miles (with none of them actually connecting any communities), servicing 37,280 people, with 4,927 vehicles, and a population density of less than four one-hundredths of a person per square mile.

There are about 17,000 polar bears in Nunavut – that’s one people eating polar bear for every two people.

The only let down was that a person rather than a polar bear was driving the car.

Not for long.
There’s a joke in there just begging to be told:

“I saw a car from Nunavut driven by a polar bear!”
"Oh yeah, what kind of car?’

A late 50’s Buick convertible, tail fins and all. Big car, lots of chrome.

A beautifully restored 1963 (I think) Pontiac Bonneville convertible. Red, with black interior. Damn thing was long enough to land airplanes on.

If anyone likes Porsches, you will enjoy this glimpse into their German Museum.

A Sparrow 2 electric 3 wheeler - I’ve never seen one before.

Late 60s VW Bug, bubblegum pink.

A Lexus GS F, but what made it interesting was its color – a wild orange. Checking their site, they call it “Molten Pearl.”

When you want your Lexus to look like an Aztek.

LOL!

The annual collector car auction in Auburn, IN is just down the road from me so I’ve seen quite a few interesting cars the last few days. The two that really caught my eye were pristine looking GM muscle cars. The first was a beautiful, Teal Blue 67-68 Z/28 Camaro and the other a bright red 66-67 SS Chevelle.
The pictures linked are not the actual cars I saw, they are similar cars found on Google. The Camaro may have been an SS, it had stripes like the SS in the link. I did not attend the auction but I live near it and always see a bunch of cool old cars driving around the area.

It was moving too fast for me to identify it. It had the gas port behind the license plate, and as a gag, there was a gas nozzle and about 6 feet of gas hose sticking out of it. It was very eye catching!
