What's the most successful non-diet offshoot of a popular foodstuff?

Double-Stuf Oreos.

Don’t you mean

Cool Ranch Doritos!

Same thing.

Ooh, those are awesome. I wish they were available all year round!

Cherry Coke is my personal favorite offshoot. I prefer regular Pepsi over regular Coke, but Cherry Coke kicks ass.

I was coming in here to name this.

And, fwiw, in Marketing terms, these are called “flanking products”

Don’t know how relatively successful it is, but white chocolate Reeses Peanut Butter Cups get my vote, hands down.

What about linear evolution of a successful product? For example, the Hostess Twinkie had a yellow banana rather than a white vanilla creme filling for the first 10 years or so of its life.

There are several varieties of the cups, but I’m certain the most successful extension of the brand is Reese’s Pieces.

They’re not exactly “successful”, since they are MUCH harder to find, but David’s Jumbo Sunflower Seeds are way, way better than Original Seeds.

If you like Originals, you owe it to yourself to hunt down and try the Jumbos. Trust me.

I understand all those words, but that sentence makes no sense.

Dark Chocolate Milky Way.
