There was a time when I would have immediately said “Ranch Doritos”, but something in my body changed and I now realize that Nacho Cheese Doritos are best. Anyway, I believe taco was the original flavor and I consider Nacho Cheese to be way better.
My main one now would be Live Wire Mountain Dew. For me, it isn’t just better; it blows original Mountain Dew out of the water and it the only great Mtn. Dew flavor.
What flavors do you like so much that they are better than the original?
I’ll drink Cherry Coke over Coca-Cola “Classic” any day of the week.
While I disagree, I know several people who prefer Honey Nut to original Cheerios.
While it isn’t a particular brand and may not qualify, I prefer strawberry or raspberry lemonade to regular (which presumably came first, so I’m counting it.)
Not a flavor so much as a shape, but I like Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs (the special Easter ones) better than the normal Peanut Butter Cups. I’m not sure if the chocolate to peanut butter ratio is slightly different or if the smooth, rounded shape is more pleasing than Cups’ crinkled edges but I love the Eggs so much more. (There’s also the fact that they’re dirt cheap if you stock up during the week after Easter, which doesn’t hurt at all.)
For a while in the early 90s, Twix had a “Cookies and Cream” flavored bar that was better than the original caramel Twix. Apparently I was the only person who thought so.
Vanilla Coke is better than the original. There’s a brand of doritos that’s better than nacho flavor too. I don’t remember the name, but the doritos were spicy and slightly sweet.
Does he need to? It failed because of the replacement of the original Coca-Cola, which they had to reintroduce with the word “classic”. It was a marketing failure, not a taste failure.
I don’t bother with the regulars, that goes even moreso for double stuff EL Fudge. In fact, I almost always pull two of them apart and put the two frosting halves together making a single quadruple stuff cookie…I hate eating them empty cookie part though, but I’ll do it first to get it over with.
Of course, I can also eat that Duncan Hines/Betty Crocker frosting right out of the can with a spoon.
